Thanks Much, I appreciate the help. I am wondering if you’ll be doing a follow up to your PI DVD? If so, it’ll definately be on my list to get. Thanks again.

    Hi Michael,

I must be confused. I D/L the linked file and tried following the instrutions, but no joy. When I open the settings pane and go to open settings file. navigate to the .avs file I D/L and open it. I get an empty settings window with the name of the file in the title bar. Am I doing something wrong? I’m on Mac OSX 10.3.9 running AXP 4.6.5 Thanks for your help.

    Hey Pearl,

Have you tried mapping the segment mode (Red Arrow) to a button? If you select a clip with segment mode, you can lift it out of your sequence without having to set in and out points by hitting Delete. Try that. I use it all the time. Good luck.

Avid Pro HD does have the “Snap to” option. Just go to the timeline setting menu from the Project window and select “Default Span-to-Edit” option. Hope that helps.
