The individual clips are created in After Effects 6 and their somposition settings are:

HDTV 1080 25
1920 x 1080
25FPS
square pixels
7.9MB per 8bpc frame

They are exported as:
Format: Quicktime
Channel: RGB
Depth: Millions of Colors
Color: Premultiplied (Matted)

In FCP, the project settings are:

HD (1080 x 10820) (19:9)
Field Dom: Upper (Odd)

Quicktime Video Setings
Compressor: DVCPRO HD 1080i50

Audio Settings
Rate: 48kHz
Depth 16 bit
Config Channel Grouped

Yeah, I should have mentioned all that gets done frequently-like every 15 minutes (purging the Image and Image Cache Memory). The issue shouldn’t be that the machine has run too long, as it’s just as likely to occur in the first 60 seconds of booting-up. I have no other issues with any other production software (FCP, PS, IL, Premier, Soundtrack, et al). And the frequent re-boot route is clearly time consuming.

Any other ideas fellas?
