Thank you Eric for the suggestion.

I created a timeline using Prores 4444. I dropped the greenscreen clip on the timeline, used the generator to create a bright white background. Right clicked on the white background to disable it. Exported the still as a PNG and lo and behold the subject image was exported with a transparent background.

Just what I needed. Thanks again.

    Hi Mark,

You are correct about right clicking on a clip to reveal in finder which reveals the thumbnail and original media name Clip 2016 along with thumbnails of all the other clips in sequential numbered order. As there are 3050 clips in the project it is a lot of work to go through each one clip by clip to manually regain the brower sort order but it is possible. I would like to see Apple modify the Browser to include the media name as well as the clip name which would help with media management.

As for clipwrap which Shane mentioned, I have no experience with the product. I looked at the website but I’m not ready to experiment with it at this time.

Thanks for the info. This forum rocks.

I will definitely handle the clip naming differently the next time I log and transfer. I was hoping not to go back and redo the file names as there is an extensive amount of footage involved. I was wondering if there is some function in the media manager that might allow me to regain the Clip 1, 2, 3… log as I have not renamed the media files just the browser clips. In any case I appreciate the quick response and your help in trying to solve this problem.

The media start times are all 00:00:00:00. Any other suggestions?
