    And Dave, I’m on a Windows 7 platform, using AE 5. My camera exports AVCHD. What do you suggest to convert it and to what format?

    I know this thread is old but I just started using AE cs5. I’m editing video from a Canon HD Vixia HF10. Do I need to uncompress it before I import it into AE?
    It seems to read the .MTS files just fine.

    Any help would be well appreciated. Is this the best forum for AE?
    I’ve always loved the Cow for info.

    Did that help?
    Mine’s doing the same thing but I think it’s because AE crashed and I had to restart it.
