Like you I record in OBS in MKV. I use to import those files directly into Vegas and never had a issue. V21 started cutting the files off for some reason or doing other strange things like not playing back the last few seconds of Audio. Anyway like you after some folks here suggested i convert the files to mp4 before importing to V21 i tried that and that seems to have solved the problem. The only difference is i am remuxing the files right in OBS, i am not using a 3rd party software to convert them to mp4.
