Hi Doug, Dennis — one more for the pile, if either of you has a moment.

I found a handful of FCP 7 projects from 2008-2010 on an old drive that I need to get back into, and everything I have now is Apple Silicon, so there’s no way to open them.

Would one of you be able to open them and export XML? The main one is a 15 MB project file, with three smaller ones alongside it. All the sequences are HDV 1080i60. The media will come up offline on your end — from what I’ve read here, the XML still exports fine that way. If it’s easier, a separate XML per sequence works for me.

I didn’t want to dump files into the thread uninvited, so just say the word and I’ll attach them here or send them over WeTransfer, whichever you prefer. No rush at all — whenever you’re between projects.
