    Unfortunately, you can’t save your transitions as presets. You can set a default transition duration in the general settings, set a default transition that will be inserted when you press Shift+D by right clicking any transition and clicking Set Selected as Default Transition, or you can make transitions your self using effects and save those as presets, but Adobe (for whatever reason) doesn’t let you save transition presets.

  • They do still sort of have this. If you install the trial version, then you can use Blur to Color, Flash, Push and Roll without any watermarks.

  • It’s pretty simple to get going. Drag out your first thing you want on your second screen (for instance, the clip bins) using the tab with the window title, and adjust it to the size of your second screen. As you drag out a second window, if you hover it over the new window on your second screen, you’ll see a green bar as you move towards the left/right/top/bottom of the window, and if you let go it’ll snap the new window to half of the main window. Hopefully that helps you out a bit.
