    That was my first thought based on the information you provided. It could be just bad drivers. You may need to uninstall the drivers and delete any reference to them in the registry.

    Have you tried deleting your user settings? Also delete the msmFMID and msmMMOB files on your media drives.

    I am getting my information from the facts. I edit, as well as many others 1:1 (uncompressed) video and graphics on a daily basis with the above system with no problems whatsoever. I can’t tell you that someone else can do the same because their system may vary. I just no that it can be done because I have done it with no problems at all.

    Depending on what motherboard you have, the firewire card has to be in a certain slot. You are probably experiencing a conflict lick MPE stated.

  • Why not take a feed from the house (church) into one of the cameras or a separate recorder?

    He had to have had all the layers selected for the color correction to affect the picture in pictures.

    It’s really not enough info regarding your system specs to make a good sound decision. What kind of drives are they? Are they 7200rpm, 8meg cache, etc? External or internal? CPU, memory, motherboard. firewire card? Mojo or no Mojo?

    The choppy video would be most likely a result of hard drives.

    First of all, I am very sorry you guys are having the problems you are having. I have Studio Essentials with Xpro HD 5.1.6. My system is home built and is stable as a system could be.
