In my searching around I found a post somewhere that suggested re-importing, but it really didn’t help… I don’t think the mpeg was really there at all as I was able to place the missing portion and butt it up against the end in order to complete the project…

Yes, all three times its happened… I eventually added on the missing thirty seconds in DVDSP, but it bumps a little right there (of course!). It might have something to do with the fact that I’m downsizing an HD ProRes timeline to SD… but why that would happen in exactly the same place 3 times out is creepy.

Stranger still — when I drag a clip from the bin and drop it on the canvas it doesn’t snap to the borders… it settles in off center…

Yeah… no soap… I’m starting to think it really is spooks…

I keep checking the software updater but haven’t seen anything new since first installing and the doing the upgrades.

    This is seriously wonky!

  • I’m struggling with the same thing… I have an 1920×1080 uncompressed clip and have a hard time seeing the area I’m working on cause it’s at the bottom, and like the man said, once you drag the stage to that size you can’t see any of the other controls… very frustrating… I found the large size render program to work wonderfully however (and fast!) and the shot looks great!

    Brilliant — Thanks…

I just bought your two dvds, so looking forward to learning more… I think I saw some info on enlarging the emitters cause I guess they’ll be quite small on a large stage…

Where would one find the “load library” command? I did manage to import the blank from the little window tab in the program but it then appeared as a puff of animated smoke! I’m guessing this is not what I should be doing. 🙂
