So I guess my last question, since the client has only seen the version before the expression was applied; Am I good to go with applying the expression (which I only did today) and having text scroll for a 9 second duration?

    In addition,

Try pulling some matts on your different color elements-midtones, highlights, shadows etc, and adjusting the colors from there. I usually use discreets color corrector for my color grading, and it works great.

    Dope,

I am assuming, that you then apply the keylight at the end of the pipeline after converting it back to RGB. Is this assumption correct?

Check you end action, I can’t remember if there is one for motion menus, but that might be the issue. Also, make sure loop is set to forever on your menu. That is the key. Try to render motion menus seperate and then burn the disc. Encore is still a relatively new software, so I would check the adobe website for patches….

    🙂

    I like the website…the 3d in that route 66 opener is awesome…;-)

    Wow,
that is sick! Import a scene file directly! When did this become an option?

I agree with Rob. I recently worked on a series of “Pony” shoe brand, marketing bits. We actually went to a green-screen studio and filmed a horse, jumping around, reering up on it’s hind legs, and the likes. The shots turned out great. Shadows did have to be touched up of course, as Rob stated.

Looking at the clips, I think that maybe some of those long shots, like the rock climber were done with parented images animated, as they silouetted and motion is minimal.

I would try flushing out your memeroy. Go to Edit>Purge>All and then try to render the image.

I know there is an old tutorial on here or highend3d.com

but you have to simulate the camera with nulls in the scene and then you can import the positional data into after effects. I have also heard rumors of being able to export the camera as a specific file type that imports into After effects…I want to say RFT…can anyone verify?

Quick follow up question. Are you viewing on a computer monitor or NTSC broadcast monitor.

I’ve experienced problems with aliasing on my editing platform’s project monitor, but when viewed in a broadcast montitor it looks fine. Also remember, computer monitors are porgressive and cannot disply interlaced video correctly.
