Weird&#8230; if you put the 4K clip in a 4K timeline and export at 1080 is better than if you put the 4k clip in a 1080 timeline and export in 1080.</p>

The same result if I send project rendering to Compressor. If I make the same thing with Motion 5 the quality is better and the image is more clear and sharp. Has anyone noticed this? You can upconvert with Kona and deinterlace with FCPX. I suggest to make a test both ways.</p>

Edit your clips in timeline, select all DV clips and select the better &#8220;Frame sampling&#8221; in &#8220;Rate Conform&#8221; menu in the &#8220;Inspector&#8221; 😉</p>

Anyway why you don&#8217;t use the stabilization tool inside fcpx? It works fine.</p>

Select &#8220;Better quality&#8221; in the viewer menu. However this does not affect the final export</p>
