Yes, the D600 has a white balance capability.

I tried to set both with a white card but still the Sony is accurate and the Nikon is not correct.

I have read that in photo cameras the white balance is adjusted better with a gray card. I will get one and try it.

It is clear that it is not possible to use them in a multicamera shot. I manually adjusted the white balance in the z7u and entered the same K value in the D600 and still the color temperature is different. (The DOF of the D600 is beautiful, but the color temperature of the z7u is more “real”).

Steve, you were right again. I updated the drivers and the preview on TV in Vegas 12 works much better than in Vegas 10, 11. Thanks

Vegas 12 is more stable than previous versions in complex projects. I use it a lot.

I only see 3 problems:

1. Vegas 12 doesn’t detect my Blackmagic Design Decklink card as the preview device. (I can preview in a TV connected to that card in Vegas 9, 10 and 11 in the same PC).

2. In previous versions I was able to edit a photoshop file inserted in vegas time line, and I was able to see in Vegas the changes saved in Photoshop without closing Vegas file. In Vegas 12 I can’t do that. Photoshop files inserted in the time line becomes locked until I close Vegas application.

3. Newblue Titler Pro still doesn’t work. Vegas crashes right after Newblue Titler is dropped into the time line.

I have a Sony 7zu that allows interchangeable lenses.

Is it possible to get that shallow depth of field using the right photo lens with a video camera?

If so what lens do you suggest?

I found SERIOUS MAGIC ULTRA (https://www.amazon.com/Serious-Magic-20020000-SERIOUS-Windows/dp/B00016OYKK) and SERIOUS MAGIC ULTRA 2 (https://seriousmagic.net/).

But it seems both work only with SD. I don’t see any reference to HD input-output.
