Any suggestion about a chroma keyer software that performs better that the chroma keyer Fx of Vegas pro 12?

Any suggestion about a chroma keyer software that could be used on site to test the set up on site?

I have use NewBlue for a long time and I like it very much. It comes in one of their video essentials packages which gives you a bunch more cool plugins.

I think they are priced right too.

Boris Continuum Complete BCC Chroma Key is one of the best and can be purchased separately as a Continuum Unit and plugs right into Vegas Pro..

That would have been Serious Magic Ultra but Adobe bought it and killed it. There is no other software that I know of that does that anymore.

    Thank you Jeff and John.

John is there a way to buy an old version of Serious Magic Ultra?

I found SERIOUS MAGIC ULTRA (https://www.amazon.com/Serious-Magic-20020000-SERIOUS-Windows/dp/B00016OYKK) and SERIOUS MAGIC ULTRA 2 (https://seriousmagic.net/).

But it seems both work only with SD. I don’t see any reference to HD input-output.

Yes, Serious Magic 2 did have HD Support…
I wish Red Giant had made Primatte keyer available for Vegas,
    that keyer is awesome.

I have Ultra 2 and it does support HD. I would not, however, buy it from that link. Did you see that they want to take control of your computer in order to activate it? That looks like some seriously illegal stuff.

NewBlue’s Chroma Keyer is way better than what’s in Vegas Pro. It’s just not as good as BCC Chroma Keyer but to be fair, it cost a lot less so it’s outstanding for the price. If that’s all someone can afford it is definitely a good buy. If you can go for Boris’ then even better.
