Hi. Thanks for the info on putting layers on tracks. But the drifting is still there. I’m using Pro Animator 4.0 and using it as a stand alone. I selected all my objects as a group and set up one pose then selected them all again as a group and set up another pose and the same layer is still drifting on its own between poses. It’s just a simple tumble; nothing fancy.

I was wondering about the upgrade option. I’ve got CS2 and AE7 but do not have Flash 8, and, being a Mac guy, do not have Premiere, Soundbooth, or Encore. Does this disqualify me from buying the upgrade?

Thanks. I think you just solved 2 problems in one. By animating the Roughen Edges border and playing with the edge sharpness it already looks like sand being washed away. I’ll probably still use masks but this does give it a much more authentic feel.

Yeah, the client wants it “3D” so the only way I know how is Zaxwerks. I got the effect though using Paticle Playground with the help of a tute I found here on the Cow.
