    Hi Jeff
Many thanks for that -I thought it made sense to import everything otherwise what are they there for?

I’m transferring direct from camera card via USB to pc and importing into project via media browser – it’s working fine so far – if there is a better way to transfer and organise /name the files I’d be very interested to hear it.

    Thanks again

    Frank

Hi, just catching up with this thread as I’ve just started using a Sony pmw300. I’m on prem pro cs5 and I simply transferred the clips and all other files from sxs cards via USB to my hard drive then used media browser in prem to import to the project – it all works perfectly with no errors so far, but I’m wondering if I need to transfer the other associated files with the video clip? Does it make a difference or does pp reference them somehow in the project?

Anyway just thought I’d mention that it’s trouble free at the moment tho this is my first project with this media!
