    I downloaded it from a direct-download website which I have used for over a year now, without any complications at all with any of the files. (the files in the video I’m trying to render have been used before too, again, without any problems.)

    Well. It is the same length as it is in the timeline on Vegas, and the audio is the correct length. The video is slowed down for about 95% of the time, and for the small amount of time remaining, the rest of the video is sped up. I really don’t know how to describe it; do you get what I mean, or would you like an example?

    It is clips from a TV show I downloaded a little while ago, and I am watching it on my PC.

    However, I can understand that last bit; I’m seeing it in the final, encoded file. It’s fine on the preview screen.
