I’m sorry John, but I don’t see the options to render to Sony MXF or MPEG2 HDV M2T files. Is this not included with Vegas Pro 9?

And what did you mean when you said “Or just render a YouTube version to Sony AVC now”

Here are also the specs for the video camera I’m using.

File formats
video: H.264 (MOV), AAC LC
still: JPEG

Capture modes
1080p—1920 x 1080, 30 fps
720p / 60 fps—1280 x 720, 60 fps
720p—1280 x 720, 30 fps
WVGA—848 x 480, 30 fps

I mostly shoot with 720p (30 or 60fps, I’m not sure)

I’m editing HD videos captured with my Kodak Playsport which records 720p. I only have 1 250GB internal hard drive with an external 500GB plugged in.

I didn’t know hard drives had any effect. How so?

So according to my computer specs and the files I’m editing, is this enough? If not, how can it be improved?

John, you are probably correct. I did format my portable hard drive so that my PS3 can read it. I’ll try this out and let you know.
