Hi Marcus,
You can use some DV/DVCAM VTR or camera that let you go trough from it RCA composite video-in, to use the firewire conection to digitize (manually) that signal into your M100.By the way, I would love to wear my M100 T-shirts and caps, and give it to my crew too.

Do you have both applications installed on the same computer?

We transfer all media into Final Cut (ProRes), and then we perform a rapid import from our bins in M100.
After edit, we send our PGMs to AE, for color correction (Colorista2). Coming back to M100, we do a final color adjust with RGB curves (if needed). The results are amazing (for TV_SD).Fermin Branger

It has around 10 years since he created it, and is still working great in it’s last versions. You can convert 1080i60 clips to 1080P23.98 using the codec of your choice: uncomp_10, PRoResHQ…
I don’t know Wondershare but I can assure that with Maker you can do the job.https://dvfilm.com/maker/macversion.htm

June 25, 2012 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Mixing 1080p/23.98 & 1080i/29.97 clips in the timelineYou have to convert all 1080i29.97 media to 23.98, pulling up all clips using AE or other app like DVFILM-MAKER, before import it from M100.
You could perform a ‘force’ import to standard and codec from M100 (selecting it in the import window), but it isn’t a clean interpretation of the movement, because it do not pull the cadence of the frames. What are your camera/codec settings?
Are you working at 23.98 or 24 fps?

Congratulations Gerry, it looks great!
I think you can add custom made rain/dust cover and offer adjustable front handles too.
Does it have some upper cheese plate to fit one monitor or another accessory beyond the light?
All the very best,

April 12, 2012 at 3:29 pm in reply to: Memory allocation failed when importing FC XML… I have to said that since I’ve updated to M100 2.1 and OS to 10.6.8, I’ve been having a lot of problems with Apple ProRes codecs in M100.

It would be so great if Boris had not said us that it wouldn’t support Cineform at all.
….It would be great if we could read and write Open EXR media too, now that it seems that this codec is going to be in the workflow of so many digital film productions for some years from now.
