I shot on the red, transcoded the ama link to edit on avid 8.3. Got picture lock and then relinked the red footage. Exported an AAF and Premiere doesn’t acknoledge any video files just audio. Tried the work around and took that same AAF to resolve, which it reads fine and then export a new AFF from there to send to Premiere. Premiere this time around read some video files but not all of them. The pictures attached is what I see with my many failed attempts to have the AAF imported to Premiere. If anyone can suggest another work around or any help, I’d really appreciate it. Specially since I have been on the phone with AVID Support for the last week and they finally caved in today saying there was no way to resolve the issue. Please help me.

Hello, thank you for your quick reply. In one folder I had the AMA link files, which i then transcoded to dmx files so that I can edit it on my slow computer at school. Now that I have a picture lock I want to relink the dmx files to the AMA Link files so that I can transfer the relinked timeline for grading. Any help would be very appreciated, thank you. below is the screenshot of the folder where I have both files, one ama link and the dmx file. The other folder is the relinked folder which has some files that relinked while others, like the one chosen, in limbo.

Hi there, I am truly having a heck of a time trying to relink my dmx files back to my 6k raw on Avid. I can really use your help because I am all out of ideas.

I got as far as the program relinking half of the files on the timeline only, not sure why this happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Felix
