  • I had the same problem after installing snow leopard on my mac powerbook. right click on the folder and select “get info”. go to the bottom and click the lock to unlock “sharing & permissions”. click the + sign, then when you see the different users pop up, select your log in user name and click “select”. this will allow you to do whatever with your folder. I noticed that when put snow leopard on my comp, it created a separate user log in and I think this is where the problem happened. But Im ok with that cause when people ask to use my computer I dont need them being able to access my personal files or websites where my passwords are stored anyway! hope this helps!
