I should have imagined that! Thank you, now that I understand the problem I really feel better. This is the first time in my life that a chinese cheap product works “”better”” then the original Apple one 😀

I’ve bought the earphones from a store, they have 3 divisions.. They look exactly like the cheap ones. The funny thing is that I’ve just tried to use ANOTHER pair of Apple earphone (this pair was included in my iPhone 4 package) and the result is the same, a sort of “mono” audio from Final Cut. What a strage thing…

Thank you for the answer, but the problem is that with cheap earphones I can actually hear my left-panned or right-panned audio, this means that I managed to do that. When I plug in my Apple earphones I don’t hear any panning any more, like it’s turning the audio into mono. Why there’s a difference?

Maybe I’m wrong, but with an Apple TV I wouldn’t be able to show Full HD videos… And does an Apple TV read Apple Pro Res without having to reconvert everythig?
I’m also checking some alternatives anyway; this thread could be useful for everybody so I’ll post what I find. 😉Fabrizio Rinaldi
