Hi Dave,

I know how to make ink drops, but i was wondering how I can make the effect from ink to text, the kind of transformation between ink and text.

I’m making the ink drops with fumefx btw.

Hi Randy,

thanks for your comment, i hope your tip will work.
I’ve asked the maker of the animation (Esteban) to give some tips and he explaned what he did.

He talked about the boolean effect that he put the spline into a boolean with the text that you want to put an inside color on it (i dont know if this is correct english but i hope you understand what i mean).

Thanks for your answer, i can’t get the result that i want, is there a way to spline mask a text and maybe duplicate the text and make it a bit smaller and than it looks like the inside of the letter???

I can’t get the result yet, but i think it is possible, I mean you can add colors to editable polygons but can i add colors without making it editable?
