I know its unlikely that this is the case across 9 machines, but I find when the FCP scopes are up on machines with the LHe it throws my sequences out of synch, on both client and computer monitors.

    Hope it helps.

Lloyd Alvarez of aescripts.com is in development of a script called “immigration” which does just this. According to him it should be out in the near future, keep an eye out.

Not sure about C4d (im a 3ds user) as for 3ds it has a 3d tracer which is not very good.
You are better off using external software (Boujou, matchmover, syntheyes), but again check if they are compatible with the software you are going to use.

    Good luck

If you are working in a facility that uses smoke/flint/flame, for compositing Maya/3ds works better (all are discreet products. as for “realistic” 3ds and maya have better lighting systems, and photorealistic renderings, but mostly your final product will realistic based on your compositing skills.
Also if you are planing on compositing 3d into live, I would check compatibilty between 3d trackers, boujou/syntheyes etc and C4d.

    Good luck

you could use trapcode 3d stroke, but your best bet is going into a 3d program, MAX, MAYA, C4D, etc…

effects->transitions->card dance will allow you to break your actor up into blockc, and scaling the crads will make them over lap. you can give the illusion of physics, by doing some keyframe work (some times you just have to do it the old fashioned way) or tracking will work as well.
