No, they won’t import at all. It says, “FILE NAME.wmv.mp4/avi/mpeg cannot be opened.

Same thing happened to me. Drag it out from where the dotted arrows are at the left of the tab, it should come out.

Your computers specs look fine. Try closing down other applications that may be using up a lot of the RAM. Also, if you go into task manager, set the priority for Sony Vegas to “High”, that may speed it up.
