This is useful information, but my question is why does my audio feed to my external monitor sound like the voice of the exorcist? I have my path looking like this Mac w/ FCP open> 6-6 firewire> canopus> RCA cables out of canopus to splitter in> to splitter out> to external monitor audio input. The video shows perfectly; the sound is there and you can hear it a little bit, but it’s being over powered by some kind of static or some muffled sound. What should I do? is this a settings problem, syncing? help!!!
