Reading here, tried what other people said, DISABLE GPU ACC, and… it worked for a better render time, don’t think that a solution but, it worked, didn’t freeze during render and finishes quickly, still the problem that the rendered MPEG2 if I play from computer skips in some points, that never happened with a MPEG2 rendered from vegas 9, is VERY strange, did several test and ALL the MPEG2 rendered from vegas 12 have those skip (audio and video freezes for a momment and then continues), Vegas 9 or premiere MPEG2 renders plays PERFECT.

I had the same problem, before I was using vegas 9 with no problem, update to Vegas 12 and take 5 times more the render and experience a lot of problems, so, reading here, DISABLED the GPU accelerationd, and performance increased much, I have a GTX 570, I think a good card, Can’t believe Vegas cant take advantage of it 🙁 I’m kind of dissapointed

  • Oh, maybe that’s the reason, I have K-lite installed before install Vegas, so, I will uninstall both, and then install only vegas pro 11 to check if that works…. and, uninstalling k-lite, also unistall codecs on the registry or I need to do something else?

  • Hi, strange, I can’t find where to disable auto and select cpu only, I think on new build has been disabled to choose, cause is not there.

I Have the same problem, those green frames appears while I-m editing, what I-m doing is as soon as I finish editing, close vegas and re open it and start rendering inmediatly, but even in that way I have some videos with green frames at the beginning. Don-t know what to do….
