Hey Christopher,

I had the same problem with a hard drive i received recently, however i got it to work. Here’s how:

1. Download and Install the XDCAM EX plug-in (https://www.sony.ca/xdcamex/software.htm) for Mac

2. After a successful install, open Final Cut Pro and goto File > Log and Transfer

3. In the window, click on the left corner icon that shows a folder with a plus sign and browse to the BPAV folder from the files you obtained and click OPEN

4. All the clips will be loaded in the window and then you simply choose what’s needed and drag it into the box below..
