    How many tracks are you working with?
    – less than 8 at any given time

    If you are using mp3’s or equally compressed audio, convert it to either WAV or AIFF. You may also be having sample rate conflicts. you want your audio to be 48k preferably.
    – I usually avoid mp3’s at all costs and the audio sample rate is 48k and is an .aiff

    I think my real question is… why does it change my sync when just extending the edit?
    I understand the technical issues around matching the sequence to my audio sample rate but I don’t understand why when working in a piece that is around 30 min, if I trim my audio bridge by a few frames, double check the render and audio from another section becomes out of sync.
    This is bad when trying to get a project ready for export and not trusting your own edit.

    My most successful way to fix the problem is to do a global reconnect.
