I have a problem with FCP at home. Working with an archive historical program I discovered that Calibrated Q have an MXF option that does not work for me. My employer is using an MXF plug-in from Cinnamon (?) that is not commecially available. It is impossible for my employer to let me have it on the Mac on my home. I can edit the MXF video files on all the Macs at work, but I’m kind of used to bringing a LaCie disk home and edit there too. Do anyone of you know why the Cinnamon MXF option for FCP is not for sale? My employer for 30 plus years is the NRK (the BBC of Norway). Our entire archive has been transferred to our new programme bank, in reality a server/huge disk (grid) and some monstrous tape streamers. So when I want to use stuff from the archives its always MXF now. This is a real downer for me, and I will appreciate any help. This is what I”m up against with my trusty home iMac and Apple FCP 7.2 (NRK version): https://www.tsl.co.uk/download%5Cnews%5CTVBE%20NRK%20Tale%20of%20the%20tape.pdf
