Try changing the batch capture settings from “all selected clips” to “only off-line clips”. I had a very similar issue where they deck seemed to rewind past my “in point” and keep rewinding until the beginning of the tape. For some reason, even though my bin was very clean and there were no other selected clips in the logging bin…it was trying to go to a timecode that didn’t exists. Once I changed it to “capture all off-line clips” it worked as expected.
