No, I wish it were that simple. It’s set to 4. What’s happening is that 2 angles sync up and the 3rd angle is on the same timeline in it’s entirety after the first two on the same clip. Weird… I’m cutting the two together and exporting them. I bring them back in and use a multi-cam edit to synch and cut in the third angle. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the tip but how do I do that? I’ve looked inside my sequence settings and tried to switch to an Apple Pro Res codec but I end up with the same result. I edit a clip show and will need to make this work with the rest of my project on the same timeline. Will changing my video playback settings screw that up?
    Thanks for your time.

I’ve downloaded the codec from the website and can see the video thumbnails but can’t select them to put in to my viewer, let alone edit them. I get a popup that says codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card. Any ideas?

I found a work around and now my whole system is back to working like it should.

The workaround is go into System settings>Scratch disks
and select the video render files to go to another drive
(hopefully you have a second drive or external drive available)
This will enable you to render out and finish the project.

I’ve got a terabyte of storage just for render files so we’ll see how long that’ll last.

I’m also having trouble with my log and capture tool as it is saying File Error: Unknown file. Is this related? I’ve not changed any settings.

I have a proavio 6 terabyte external drive. It is far from full and when I ran a speed test all of the drives came back at about 355 MB/S.
