What do you mean by ” horrible”
Video need to be compressed to get it on a disc. 23 gig doesn’t fit
What codec are you editing? How long it is? What’s your nitrate?

Yeah….thats very doable and the way its supposed to be done 🙂
You would design 3 buttons
1. 5.1
2. 2.0
3. Play MovieYou would target audio buttons to the “Play Movie” button and set the audio in the Button Inspector.
So when the using selects 5.1 for example, it then highlights the play movie while making sure the 5.1 track is set to play. this way you are giving the use feedback on what they have chosen.
It gets more advanced but you can even set up scripts to highlight an audio button based on what the current audio set up is.

Not sure I get you….you have to have 2 buttons so the user will know they have a choice between 5.1 and 2.0

No your friend is mistaken…..BD does not play back on regular DVD players
Don’t try to match Hollywood titles since the tools they use are much higher end then what us mortals use 🙂

There are tons of distributors who buy rights to films and release on DVD. you’ll have to google and start cold calling
Honestly, unless you have a large portfolio of titles, they won’t even consider you.
DVD is still around but more and more are watching Netflix and the like. When was the last time you bought a DVD? 🙂
I had a client one time who wanted a small trivia game authored….a weeks worth of work for $200
That was good for a laugh.
I produced DVDs for several years but have since moved on to bigger and better

But DVD Authoring on its own is just about impossible
to do anymore.Rounding up a good set of distributors is your best bet….however you’d get sick to your stomach once you here what their budget is per title.
