You’ll need an advanced authoring tool like DVDSP, DVDLab or Scenarist for the scripting. Tons of ways to do this and some are better then others ..Here’s a tutorial:

The best solution here would be to conform your footage to 23.98 then author a 23.98 BD. I use Cinema Tools for this….hope someone chimes in with an Adobe workflow. There are tons tutorials on line as well
You will also need to adjust audio length and pitch as well
This is a perfect reason why you should always shoot 24p these days 🙂

Why? You have all the tools you need to make a DVD.

Just cut your footage into 2 hr increments and use DVDSP to author 3 discs.

Working in digital services for one of the major Studios…. I can tell you with extreme confidence that tape is alive and well.

Then you’ll need to learn whatever tool they have on hand. Every authoring tool on the market is fairly basic and easy to learn.
Scenarist is a bear to learn….its more like programming then anything else. Only high volume DVD companies use it really.

No one is going force you to stop using DVDSP. It’s a wonderfully authoring tool which hasn’t changedx much in the last several years
You could use Scenarist but your looking at an investment of $7k or so
None of your DVDSP experience will help you either since it’s a spec tool and more akin to programming
DVDSP is the last authoring tool you’ll need. 🙂
