So how I gonna do that? I mean to stripe the tape. Could you tell me the detail? I think I have to use RS422 connector since my betacam SP doesn’t have firewire connection. Or I can do that using betacam SP alone? Just set the timecode to start from 00:59:00:00 in my betacam SP and press record button. Is it simple like that?

What do you mean by “a tape with time code on it already”? I already tried your suggestion but it didn’t work. My Betacam SP VTR just played for a moment but then it stopped by itself. Is it possible coz I already print to tape to the same tape over and over again (since that the only tape that I got)? Do I have to use the new tape? Thx in advance.

So you mean that RS422 couldn’t transfer timecode from computer to VTR? You see, I got the same problem. I cannot make specific timecode either. I’m using blackmagic declink SP and my VTR is Betacam SP UVW1800.

Ok, thanks. Now I manage to print the tape. However the result is the tape doesn’t get the timecode from premiere, the tape using the internal timecode. How to solve that? Thanks a lot, man
