Ok, so, I did that and now the project won’t open anymore. Am I totally screwed? This is what I did: I created a file within my project folder called hidden files. I moved the media cache into that folder. Once I did that Premiere automatically created a new one but then stopped and shut down saying a dramatic error occurred and needed to be shut down. I checked the files in the new media cache folder after restarting my computer against the files in the old one and I’m missing over a hundred files. Now the project won’t open at all. I don’t know what to do. Please help.

I’m having the same problem. It’s just occurred recently but every 90 seconds or so on its own, and after every thing I do, it generates a peak file and conforms the same file over and over and over. I’m curious as to where the media cache folder should be moved as well as the results of that action. I’m not entirely new at this process but I’m far from calling myself an expert. I’m not quite sure what conforming means or what the media cache folder contains. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I’m doing a video project for a non profit company and the due date is coming up. Thanks in advance for any help.
