What’s really weird is that the same EPS file nested into a text box will sometimes have this and sometimes wont. I know computers don’t do things just because they feel like it. There is a reason. It’s just a mystery to me.

Thanks for the reply Kalleheikki,

I ended up using the Adobe World Ready Paragraph Composer in the Paragraph drop down menu. That plus the Glyph pane made it doable. I learned that Farsi has different initial, medial and terminal characters. I see why my company has never done anything but Roman alphabet languages up until now. ☺

Wow, nobody knows how to get rid of the default frame in Illustrator anymore? Did Adobe break it? It is maddening for my workflow.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a try and at 10 steps and 20 steps the same three particles fell through the geometry. This is three out of several hundred.

Since the product is a dust catcher, the offending particles are a deal breaker. I may have to roto them out if I can’t figure out why they are breaching the deflector.

Now if I could just figure out what node will start the particle emitter at a specific point in the timeline. The old particle system had a start frame/end frame node built into the emitter.
