Actually it’s even easier if you make each line a separate text event.

Add Cookie Cutter Video FX, use rectangle, adjust to a suitable size and animate its position so it moves across “uncovering” the letters. Use Hold keyframe interpretation so it jumps from letter to letter rather than gradual movement.

You’re probably right. But as an exercise I knocked this together in 23 mins including creating the mask in an image editor.

As an alternative you could do it manually with a mask. It might take a few minutes. The mask needs to reveal each letter (of the complete title) by moving the mask using Pan/Crop with animated Hold keyframes .

If you want to do each line using the same Title clip the mask would need to be stepped for each line. A png file with transparent background is required for the mask. The mask needs to be on a mask track as a parent to your title clip on a child track. At least that’s my experience with VMS but I assume Pro is similar.

Thanks Paul. I’d been looking for that internal setting for ages.

Roger, in DVDA go to Make Blu-ray disc then Burn then select “Previously Prepared Image” and browse to your iso file.

  • Presumably your screenshot was taken during rendering? My impression is that not every frame is shown while you are rendering so it’s not representing what the render will be. Was the rendered file okay?

My experience is that my best quality was obtained by putting the SD (vob files from a DVD) onto a Blu-ray disc as they are i.e SD. DVDA didn’t recompress them, retained their AC3 audio, and they were simply copied over to become m2ts files. My Blu-ray player then upscales them feeding 1080 50p to my TV. My player appears to do a better job of upscaling than any upscaling I do with software I’ve tried.

The timeline tracks are completely missing indicating something is possibly wrong with the Vegas installation.

Suggest you refer it to Magix Support as per this thread in the Magix Vegas Forum

Have you accidentally muted the track, or have another track on Solo?
