The issue with this was that the preview screen is the same size as the 5 buttons on the side so it sees it as a single button and will not let me change the navigation due to the overlap issue.

Here is a cheap and dirty ascii visual of the layout.

The issue I can’t seem to figure out is how to navigate the buttons since Encore sees every button as basically full screen since it overlaps the video and a button as a single button. Is there a way to define a shape better than just a large square?

I will look into purchasing Encore, but if I remember right Encore will import the sound off the captured/imported file and not let you have an additional audio track playing at the same time correct?

Basically the end goal is to have seemless audio across the entire project (looping file basically) in terms of back ground music but in most the unique video the music levels need to be turned down to 50% while retaining all of the audio from the imported level.

The original concept was to have the templetes created in PP2 and since the unique segments may vary by a little bit just have a seperate audio layer that goes across the whole project and have it already set for sound level adjustments. At each project run the unique segments would just be dropped into a timeline in their proper spot and then the overall project length would be adjusted automatically. Once the files are placed I hoped to just kick off the encoding and burning process with out having to move files between programs.

I’ve been recommeded to look at Vegas too so if anyone has any options at all let me know, I’m coming up short on ideas.
