I’m waiting to hear what their system is, but that might be a great workflow idea. Haven’t edited w/MXF files, but shouldn’t be difficult, right? Thanks Jeremy!

If CG’s platform is PC, would you recommend having locked offline sent to CG as uncompressed 10 bit file or work separately on dupe files and then composite? Thanks in advance for your sagely advice!

when I try to assemble edit, the tape cues up properly, then hard cuts into the TC and stops, with “unable to locate requested timecode. Please verify that tape is timecoded correctly. I striped/coded the tape with a composite reference signal from another system, could that be my problem? Thanks in advance…

Don’t know…but if that’s the case, I need an I/O box to output to this tape deck. They told me it can be controlled through firewire but I don’t know.
