    Thank you Marc.

Sorry, I meant a Compound Node of course and not a Compound Clip. I guess there isn’t a way to copy paste a compound node and I should look into these local and remote grades.

Like you, I like to use power grades in the gallery, but what I’m looking for is not to apply a whole grade but a part of a grade, which is my compound node.

    Yes tried it all.

I’m no Photoshop guru, but it seems to me that the alpha channel is there, but I need to open up the document, go into channels choose my lowest channel that’s being called Alpha 1. Then go into load channel as selection and hit delete to get where I want!

With the PNG I just drag the file into an open photoshop document and I’m in business.

I should maybe be asking these questions in the photoshop forum?

Thank you Marc for the Article!

And Joseph, any suggestions about codecs? You think a ProRes 422 is more likely to be my friend? I will do a test…

It is actually in “Davinci YRGB Color Managed” mode with timeline set to rec709 2.4 and output color space set to rec709 2.4

That’s actually one of the first thing I tried and go figure, I don’t see any difference when I render out in 2.2. Can that be normal?

Actually not. It’s more like random frames.

    Thanks Joseph!

I’m asking a png sequence from the editor!

But for the info, the uncompressed video file reads correctly both in qt player and in VLC.
