We generally provide “bid” prices as we are a production house and provide turnkey videos. But on individual cards we generally include 3X64GB cards in the camera package and add additional cards at $75 a piece.

We currently have 8X16 GB P2 cards bought back when. We are upgrading them to all (E series) 64GB cards. With your selection of 4X64 + 1X32 you should be set for a very very long time.
I prefer to have more than I need. We have a few options we use to offload.
1- We have an old p2 store we use as a card reader only.
2- We almost always have a laptop with us and use the panasonic p2 card reader. Unfortunately that’s an expensive set up.

PS: I have not had to offload in the field for a very long time.

On speed lock you set the height of each leg individually but both stages are controlled with one release.
On the hot pod, you adjust the initial spread of all three legs with one control. Then you use the booming action to adjust the height. It quite fast but you really need to demo it first as some people I know have hated it.

I have been using Sachtler since 1993 and could not be happier. They have solutions for “needs of the many” but a few products that put them all together.
Sachtler most models will allow you to tackle each leg separately (both stages at once) on the newer models:

That will allow you to spread your in a single motion as well as telescope without touching the legs. The only drawback is you cant do low mode with those tripods.
The new Soom works the same way and combines both technologies. The only drawback of that is that it’s for smaller cameras.

Last year I spent about +120K buying from BH, they are impersonal but they get the job done. I would reccomend them but dont expect a white glove service.
For MAC stuff locally I shop from https://www.mbsdirect.com in Maryland. I just updated all my suites with a total of 28 workstations and they were great. I dont know if they can help you in Iceland?
I DO NOT BUY FROM ADORAMA. Bad experience….

Well there are few ways you can do this.
1- You set the time lapse function in the camera to 1 frame per minute and hit record/stop. (Risk of shifting the HPX300)
2- You can set the time lapse function high and trigger with the AJ-RC10G so you don’t have to touch the camera.(Cleanest way)
3-Film the elements and use After Effects to animate them. (Time consuming scan work.)
My best suggestion would be not to use a Video Camera but use a Still camera (most modern models will have a intervalometer). Because you can shoot JPEG, save the image files in sequential order(which the camera does automatically) and then import them into After Effect as an image sequence. That way there is almost no editing that needs to be done and you can render out a MOV immediately.
