    This works for me but there might be other better ways to do it.

    1. Position window over object to be tracked
    2. Go to viewer,click on Show Object Tracking Controls.
    3. Under Oject Tracking click on the FWD button. (Object Tracking)

    When the shape is out of the track,

    4. Scrub to the point where it goes out of track.
    5. Select the Key Frame radio button. (Adjust)
    6. Click Between. (Interpolate)
    7. Resume tracking by clicking on the FWD button. (Object Tracking).

    If the shape starts losing the track repeat from step 4.
