Ok so the update works great and all, but now my HDMI monitor isn’t showing any color bars or video period. My HD SDI monitor is working great. Before I installed the update, both monitors were outputting video. I am wanting it to work on both monitors, any suggestions?

Im sorry if im being hard, but im having trouble wrapping my head around these processes. I know its a long shot but if any of you could make a video showing how this would be done. It would help me tremendously. We were also wanting to be able to put proxies on a laptop and be able to cut stuff away from the office and bring it back and reconnect it to the original 5k footage later.

This sounds extremely complicated. Apple should definitely fix this. I am going to study what you have told me and try to do this.

I tried what you said and everything disconnected and I could not reconnect. I guess I didnt understand exactly what you meant. Could you be more specific with your directions. I apologize I am very new to FCPX. Maybe someone can make a Video on youtube on how to do this.

Do I copy the CurrentVersion.fcpevent to the xsan as well?

5k converted to 1080 Proxy Pro-res. Not optimized. Editing straight 1080 proxies. I did a test on our XSAN Server with our Fibre Card and its doing the same thing.

I think I found a switch within the plugin. Ill let you know what happens thanks guys

I see 24… Kevin, I think you nailed it spot on. I just dont know where to go to change that.
