  • Steve,
The Ninja is exactly what I need. The Sony a99 DOES have clean HDMI out.
    THANKS!

All through my timeline there is aliasing in all of my footage.
So, I exported a frame using the highest quality and it came out as smooth as a photo.
I’m guessing the only aliasing I’m seeing is premiere and after effects’ attempt to give me workable viewing quality. Is this correct?
still seems to be a lot of noise though for 100mbps.

Quicktime plays choppy on my computer also, but the same videos seem to play well on other computers. I started experiencing this when I changed to Windows vista x64. I don’t know if that’s it or not.

even better!…the quality seems comparable, file size is about 20% smaller and faster render too. This is great. thank you.

YES!!!! THANK YOU. Quicktime’s Motion JPEG B is perfect. It’s big but not even close to uncompressed and is looks just as good as the original footage.
Just to make sure. This will be viewable for most people if they have a regular old Quicktime payer?

    Thanks for the response.
When I overlay the different compressed videos in premiere over top of the original and switch between them, the H.264 seems to be compressing more than the .m2V.
I would be interested in trying the JPEG, but all I can find is the Blackmagic motion JPEG and it comes out as an .avi. What’s the best way to export as a JPEG?

Most likely I will go with the H.264.

thanks for the info, but i’m not sure if SD DVD’s are my problem. i’ve seen some pretty nice DVD+R’s out there. why do the dvd’s i buy at the store look so crisp? why do my graphics get abnormaly blurry?
