I didn’t notice a patch script – am I missing something? I did go to the website and download the update – but this did not resolve the issue.

Finally, after hours of frustration, I decided to try deleting the application preferences. That seemed to resolve the issue.

I predominately work with video, but was trying to ‘kill two birds with one stone’ – by being able to use this as an ad/da for both audio and video. Looks like it may work. I appreciate the info.

One last question… are the AJA io and the Kona LH (with breakout box) comprable products. Are there advantages to one over the other? I know the Kona LH can do hdv – but cannot do s-video… is that correct?

So, for example, I could plug the out of a Mackie VLZ 1402 Pro into the XLR in (left and right) on the AJA io and digitize any incoming audio into either Final Cut Pro or Soundtrack pro?

Basically, this would replace the need to have an additional audio AD/DA converter such as the Digi002 or a Rosetta or something similar?
