Hi Eric,
Try re-downloading the plug-in and see if you’re still running into the same issue.
Below is the download link for Invigorator PRO version 5.0.7:

If you’re still running into any issues, please let me know.

Hi Eric,
This issue is now resolved in version 5.0.7.

Hi Wayne,
ProAnimator 5 is drastically different than version 4, and I mean that in a good way!
When you open up the interface, you’ll notice that it immediately looks different than version 4. ProAnimator 5 now allows you customize your interface so that you can have a much faster workflow. If you are working with materials, switch to a Materials workspace. If you’re working with Lights, we got a workspace set up for that too.
The best thing about version 5 is the drawing window. This new feature is a huge time saver. You can start drawing shapes right within the program. This means, you can use familiar tools such as Pen and Pencil tools, and start tracing images and building 3D objects instantly! Not only does it allow you to draw shapes, but you can also draw custom bevels as well. Also, when you import an Illustrator file into ProAnimator, you will be able to edit all the vector points as well. You no longer have to jump between Illustrator and ProAnimator.
In terms of working with materials, we’ve greatly expanded our capabilities there as well. You can still import images and videos just like you did in version 4. With version 5, you can now build custom gradients and noise shaders directly in the Material Editor. This lets you create realistic looking reflectivity maps such as clouds, and other interesting shapes quickly and easily.
Another big feature of version 5 is object deformation. You can now bend, fold, or twist your objects just like you’re playing with a piece of paper. This lets you have all the capabilities of 3D Warps directly in the program. There are many other feature changes in version 5, and I highly recommend you to try the demo just to check out all of the new features.
To try the demo, click the “Demo” button when the authorization dialogue box pops up.
Hope this helps.

Hi Melanie,
What version of 3D Invigorator PRO are you using? If you are not using version 5.0.7, be sure to go to our download page and download the latest version:
https://zaxwerks.com/download/
Also, are you working on a Mac or Windows? What is your system specs? Please let me know your operating system, memory, and video card. In addition, are you using the OpenGL renderer or the Invigorator renderer? If you are using the OpenGL renderer, be sure to switch to the Invigorator renderer for the final render.
If possible, please send the project file to ed@zaxwerks.com
I’ll take a look at your project settings and see your project setup.

Hi Steven,
Sorry for the wait. Currently, 3D Layer Tools is in beta and close to release. We recently went on some bug hunt for Invigorator and ProAnimator, so our release schedule had to be pushed back a bit.
I will send you the beta version of the software so you can start using the plug-in. Please look for my e-mail containing all the beta information.

Hi Fernando,
Try rendering with the Animation codec and see if this helps. If you’re still running into a rendering issue, please send the project file to me at ed@zaxwerks.com
When sending the project file, please save the Render Queue with the After Effects ready to render, and all render settings already adjusted. This way, we can take a look at your render settings and see what might be causing the issue. Thanks.
Best,
Edward -
Hi Jim,
If you are using the OpenGL Renderer, be sure to switch to the Invigorator Renderer. This is the best quality renderer, so you will want to render out the final output with the Invigorator Renderer.
If you’re still having issues with the Invigorator Renderer, please send the project file to ed@zaxwerks.com
I’ll take a look at your project file and try rendering out the project.

Hi Steve,
For the issue where your text is getting bunched up, you can use Transition Grouping to help keep all your text characters together. Go to Timing Section in the Transition, and under the Transition Grouping menu, select the “Make Hard Group” command. This will group your objects together so they don’t move during a transition.
As far as spinning your object in a Transition, go to Path Actions, and select “Spin Y” in the “Action” menu. Then you can enter a value of “360” and it will spin your objects. You’re right that the “Rotate Around Common/Local Centers” does not spin your object if you position it at 360, so that’s why you need to use the Spin Y action.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions, let me know.

Hi Nick,
It doesn’t look like we will be able to get 3D Flag get the door this week. However, if you have a need to use the latest plug-in, please contact me by e-mail at ed@zaxwerks.com
I have a beta version available if you need to work on a project with version 2.
