Thanks for the advice. I shall proceed with NTSC.

I’ve found many versions in my auto-save file and am picking up where it ends as far as finalizing the project. “Auto-save” is literally a life saver even though I still have to finish up where the problem initiated itself. I don’t have the slightest idea why this happened.

The sequence is in the project window and shows that there isn’t anything in the sequence. I believe that I’ll have to re-do the entire project.

“A little learning of the perian spring is a dangerous thing.” Close to the quotation that I can remember. I don’t have a problem. It is the DVD player. Sorry for the confusion; on my part. Creative Cow has been a great source for support. Jeff, thank you again. You hung in there and it is sincerely appreciated.

I’ll be attempting the .iso route. I am attaching the screen shots you requested.

This is the first time I’ve uploaded. Hope it works.

I did as you suggested in looking at the tutorials. I followed them; considering there wasn’t anything but one video without any menus. I noticed that I had Output as DVD Master. I changed that to DVD Disc and “Build” was now highlighted. I pressed “Build” and it started to burn the disc. I can play it on my computer but I still can’t play it on my DVD Player. The Player says, “Cannot play this disk” I don’t know what else to do. I do appreciate your assistance and I know that I am “close” to solving the problem. Everything takes time. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

I imported two files; audio and video. I went to the Build tab and noticed that the “build” in the Build tab was “grayed” out. Where do I go to burn the DVD?

August 23, 2011 at 11:57 pm in reply to: CS5.5 conversion?

My computer Guru asked me where did the avi file come from. I told him it was Newtek’s Lightwave animation program. He told me to uninstall the program and then reinstall. It worked. Evidently I had installed Lightwave before I installed CS5. Since Lightwave was already on the computer when I installed CS5.5, CS5.5 didn’t see it. I’m sure there is a more technical way of putting it. All I know is, the avi files from Lightwave can now be used in CS5.5.

I have tried importing the avi file and still get the same error message. I have opened the project within CS5.5 and also clicked on a project file to initiate Premiere Pro. Same result.
