I see this is an old thread, but… Is there a way to get “keywords” logged on Lightroom 6 into FCPX(10.3) when exporting/importing? Like John Williams above, I use LR to catalogue and preview my clips (taken with a DSLR and mirrorless). Be nice to see those keywords in FCPX. Any new news or workaround on this? Thanks in advance, Ed

Just tried and seems I have to re-import to get the sounds and video together as one clip. Moved all the files without audio to Trash and importing the originals again. The sound now is coming in after unchecking the bottom check. Its going to take a lot of time though 🙁

If anyone is watching this thread, I have the same problem just now on first import into 10.3. Do I need to delete all the clips with no audio and then re-import without that bottom check mark? Thanks in advance, Ed

Thanks Robert for the clarification. Of course I meant de-spotting, just an old habit to call it spotting (from brush on print days). I’ll give it a go. But if the “still” image changes from clip to clip, or for example moving clouds. moving people , I can’t see how fixing one frame (which I know how to do) and “stretching” it would work. In Adobe Lightroom you can extract a jpeg from a film clip, fix exposure and a few other things, then “sync” that jpeg with the original movie clip and it adjusts EVERY frame in the clip. Unfortunately the “healing and clone tool”, noise reduction and many other adjustments are NOT available to use that way. Just simple exposure and contrast and those you can probably do better in FCPX. If you find something interesting you can contact me at edoATedophoto.com if you like.

“then reimported to FCPX. The colors match perfectly. ”

How do you get the spotted TIFF to affect (copy to) all the frames in the clip which have the dust in the same non-moving spot? Any link to how to do this would be fine…so you don’t have to write an answer.
    Thanks in advance, Ed
