I changed to 24bit in RGB and it worked. When exporting RGB from LW, it is always done in frames. If something crashes, I can always go back and start at the next frame to continue.

It worked because I chose “animation” and not “RGB” I would much rather use “RGB.”

I changed the format to Animation.avi and ignored the alpha channel in interpret footage. Everything works.

I take it back. I showed the first frame only with the background.

I have always used 5 seconds for a transition. I believe it is the first clip that is the problem since I have found that transition from the second clip to the third runs smoothly. There is something inherently wrong with the first clip.

I have tried a 3rd party transition of Boris FX and it works without the blue screen insertion.

Mike,
I’ve given the transition 5 seconds and still get the blue frame insertion. Are you selling your house?
