I have one more unrelated question and instead of starting another thread, I’ll ask here.

I’m using my phone and a Gopro style camera. They are both MOV files.

When upload them in Vegas to edit, I noticed in the preview window, my phone video is choppy and the Gopro style video plays fine.

I got it. Thanks for your help again. I installed an older version Quicktime and restored Vegas 12 to default settings.

Thank you.

The restore did fix the problem, however when I try copy a QuickTime video from my action camera, it shuts down Vegas and wants me to send an error report. It was doing that before, but it did work at one point, I’m not sure what’s going on now. I think I need to upgrade my laptop and start fresh anyway.

I did do the control+shift and uninstalled an reinstalled and neither one fixed it.

I guess I can try the audio drivers. Where do I get those? It’s for windows Vista.

This may be silly question, but the computer does still have audio. does that matter?
